Rich joined the team as vicar in September 2022, having previously served as a vicar near Shrewsbury in the West Midlands. He is married to Jenny (who is currently herself training for ordination) and, together, they have two sons, Nathan and Daniel.
Rich has a passion for helping people to see the overarching story that is found in the Scriptures and has presented his “Bible in 60 minutes” talk in numerous locations. In addition to being our vicar, Rich is also vicar of our sister church, Christ the King, Bradley Stoke, and serves as a clergy representative on Bristol Diocesan Synod.
Outside of work, Rich likes running, reading, camping, pale ale and watching sport (baseball, rugby, American Football and Formula 1 tend to be top of the list) . You can also ask Rich to partake in almost any sport and he’ll willingly join in – just don’t expect him to be any good at it. Rich does not like courgettes or raw tomatoes. Mushrooms are barely acceptable!
